RT: Create a new ticket

To create a new ticket in RT, select the queue in the drop-down menu at the top right of the home screen.

This will open a form for creating the ticket. Include a subject and describe the issue in the text box. If the ticket should be assigned to a particular person, choose their username from the ‘Owner’ drop-down menu under the ‘Basics’ tab. To include a link to an INSPIRE record, enter the recid in the ‘RecordID’ text box under the ‘Custom Fields’ tab. Click ‘Create’ at the bottom to submit the ticket.
